If you want larger beaches, these are located in Moraira or Calpe. there are long sandy beaches on both sides of the famous Ifach rock.
Both are EEC blue flag and have many bars and restaurants along the promenade.
At the foot of the Ifach is the fishing port of Calpe with its many renowned fish restaurants.
There are many more beaches and hidden coves within 15 minutes walk to explore along the coast.

The castle of Moraira was
built in 1742, it is set on the rocks by the main beach in Moraira
Moraira has a healthy

El Portet
El Portet cove is not only beautiful, but boasts a lot of history
It was the place of shelter for Phoenician, Greek, Roman,
Arab or private sailing or trading ships.
Today its a well equipped area for doing all kinds of nautical sports. You can also see various luxury boats moored up for the day in this wonderfully clean and clear water.
And from there we can take a stroll to the
watch tower near the Cap d’Or ( the Golden Cape) locally known as the pepper pot. This tower is on the most elevated part of the rock, overlooking the beach.
